A couple of featherweights are set to meet in Boston in former WEC champ Mike Brown (26-8) and Swedish fighter Akira Corassani (11-3-1) as part of UFC on FOX Sports 1.
The promotion confirmed the matchup on Twitter (@UFC) along with several other matches on Friday evening.

UFC on Fox Sports 1: 1 is expected to take place on August 17, 2013 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The match between Brown and Corassani is certain to appear on the events preliminary card.
Brown has turned things around fighting in the Octagon after dropping his first two bouts. The former WEC champ has won two straight, winning decisions against Daniel Pineda at UFC 146 and Nam Phan at UFC 133. The defeats came at the hands of Rani Yahya at UFC Fight for the Troops 2, and to Diego Nunes at UFC 125.
Corassani is 2-0 in the Octagon and is 8-1 (1NC) in his last ten matches. His last fight took place at home in Sweden at UFC on FUEL TV 9 this past April by winning a decision over Robbie Peralta. Corassani would win his Octagon debut by split decision, beating Andy Ogle at UFC on FUEL TV 5.
