The finals for the second edition of ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 2’ are in place and with that, the fight card for UFC on FUEL TV 10 is complete. Finalist Leo Santos will face fellow finalist William Macario in a welterweight contest as the event’s co-main event. No other competitors from the second season of the reality show have been added to the fight card.
UFC on FUEL TV 10 place at Ginasio Paulo Sarasate in Fortaleza, Brazil and is headlined by a meeting of this season’s coaches, UFC heavyweights Fabricio Werdum and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
Santos, 11-3 in professional MMA, is a two-time Copa do Mundo black belt champion as well as a fourth-place finisher at ADCC and Mundial silver medalist. Prior to competing on the reality show, he fought for Shooto, Sengoku and Cage Warriors among other shows.
Macario, undefeated after six fights in MMA, is only 21 years of age and has won five of his six bouts by first-round stoppage. The other win came via stoppage in the second frame. He has competed for Brazilian MMA organizations such as Gringo Super Fight, Rio Fight Club and Watch Out Combat Show.
Both Santos and Macario were members of Team Nogueira during filming of the show.
