Following Tuesday night’s UFC on FUEL TV: Korean Zombie vs. Poirier at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia promotion president Dana White Tweeted (@DanaWhite) the “Fight of the Night” winners.

Earning $40,000 in bonus money was Tom Lawlor for “Knockout of the Night”, ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung who earned two bonuses with the “Submission of the Night”, and “Fight of the Night” along with his opponent Dustin Poirier.

Lawlor earned “Knockout of the Night” for his 50-second finish of Jason MacDonald in the first round of their bout. ‘Filthy’ would land a straight left, stunning MacDonald, before dropping ‘The Athlete’ with a right to the side of the head.

Event headliners Jung and Poirier would battle into the fourth for the first time in their careers. Both fighters showed some exciting action but it was ‘The Korean Zombie’ who looked like the much improved fighter throughout the fight. Eventually in the fourth round, Jung would land an uppercut and then a flying knee to Poirier. As ‘The Diamond’ shot in for a leg to avoid Jung’s strikes he found himself in a D’arce choke and was put out at 1:07 of the round.

Both fighters deservedly won the “Fight of the Night” bonus, and the second bonus for “Submission of the Night” makes it three bonuses in a row.
