UFC on FX: Sotiropoulos vs. Pearson is expected to take place on December 15, 2012 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The event will air in North America on December 14 due to the difference in time zones. The event also features the final bouts of “The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes”.
This bout will be Noke’s second match at welterweight inside the Octagon following a victory last month in Toronto. ‘KO’ earned a 45-second TKO finish of Charlie Brenneman as part of UFC 152. The win erased a two fight losing skid fighting at 205-lbs, which saw Noke lose by decision to Andrew Craig at UFC on FX 2 and by submission to Ed Herman at UFC on Versus 5.
Baczynski has won six straight fights since his dismissal by the UFC after one appearance at the TUF 11 Finale, a decision loss to Brad Tavares. Four of those victories for ‘The Polish Pistola’ have come inside the Octagon with his last victory coming this past September with a knockout finish of Simeon Thoresen at UFC 152. The other three wins came against Lance Benoist, Matt Brown, and Clay Harvison.
