One of the best lightweight matchups of the year will come to fruition later this evening (Sat., Mar. 30, 2019) at UFC on ESPN 2 from inside Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as Edson Barboza takes on Justin Gaethje in the main event.
As two of the very best strikers at 155 pounds, Barboza and Gaethje are expected to turn in a sure-fire slugfest for UFC’s second stopover on big ESPN. Given the track record for each fighter, which includes 28 shared career knockout wins, Barboza and Gaethje shouldn’t have any issue delivering the goods tonight in Philly.
In advance to Barboza’s main event clash with “Highlight,” UFC has released the Brazilian’s five best finishes inside of the Octagon (shown in the above video player). Most fight fans may know Barboza from his days of wheel kicking Terry Etim into another dimension, but the 33-year-old veteran has produced many other stoppages that demand our attention, including his recent TKO win over Dan Hooker and his flying knee finish over Beniel Dariush.
Only time will tell if Barboza can get past Gaethje later tonight at UFC Philadelphia and add him to his already epic UFC highlight reel.
