Dominick Reyes’ controversial loss to Jon Jones got him a lot of rankings attention.

At UFC 247, Dominick Reyes came very, very close to dethroning the reigning pound-for-pound king. Many thought Reyes took the first three rounds against Jon Jones and deserved the decision, but unfortunately for him, the judges didn’t agree with that.

The close call did get Reyes some rankings shine though.

While it’s unclear if he will get an immediate rematch or not, Reyes is now the number one contender at light heavyweight, and entered the pound-for-pound list as well.
