Frankie Edgar’s big win over the weekend put him in the mix at bantamweight immediately.

Frankie Edgar took a long time to finally make his bantamweight debut, but it only took one fight to put him in the title picture in the division. His split decision win over Pedro Munhoz in the headliner of the UFC’s Saturday show sees him jump right into the top five contenders list at 135, leaving Munhoz back at six and being forced to string some wins together again to maybe get that elusive title shot.

Outside of that relevant fight, the card was destroyed by injuries and COVID and only featured nine fights. So there aren’t a lot of other changes in the rankings this week.

Here’s a look at the ups and downs.

P4P – No changes.

Heavyweight – Derrick Lewis falls from a tie for four to take over the five spot on his own.

Light Heavyweight – The champ is gone! Jon Jones has given up his title, and a new titleholder will be decided between Dominick Reyes and Jan Blachowicz at UFC 253. In the meantime, there’s no one at all in the eight spot for some reason. And Magomed Ankalaev passed Shogun Rua for the 13 spot. That’s it.

Middleweight – No changes.

Welterweight – No changes.

Lightweight – Al Iaquinta and Kevin Lee flip-flopped the nine and ten spots.

Featherweight – A bunch of people moved up with the removal of Edgar. Jeremy Stephens, Arnold Allen, and Dan Ige are all up a spot each from eight to ten respectively. Ryan Hall, Shane Burgos, and Jose Aldo are all also up one, to 12 through 14. Bryce Mitchell is in at 15.

Bantamweight – Edgar’s at five. Munhoz drops one to six. Everyone else below them dropped a spot except for Cody Stamann, who dropped two (he was in a tie before).

Flyweight – No changes.

Women’s P4P – No changes.

Women’s Bantamweight – No changes.

Women’s Flyweight – No changes.

Women’s Strawweight – No changes.
