Andre Fili made his hometown appearance count earlier tonight (Sat., July 13, 2019) at UFC on ESPN+ 13 live on ESPN+ from inside Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif., when he finished Brazilian featherweight Sheymon Moraes via first-round TKO (punches).
This fight didn’t last that long as both fighters engaged quickly. Moraes went to throw a combination but Fili caught him flush with a right hand counter followed by a head kick. The Brazilian was stunned. Moments later, “Touchy” caught Moraes with another hard right hand that dropped the featherweight to the ground. Fili followed up with a few punches before the referee stoppage.

With this performance, Fili secures his second-straight victory at 145 pounds after taking out veteran Myles Jury back in February. “Touchy” is now 4-1 in his last five Octagon appearances, losing only to Michael Johnson via split decision, so it makes sense for the Team Alpha Male staple to earn another shot at the top 15 his next time out.
