MMA: UFC Fight Night-Dos Anjos vs Ferguson

Check out the betting odds for Saturday’s UFC San Antonio card, where Leon Edwards is favored over Rafael dos Anjos in the main event.

UFC San Antonio goes down tonight at the AT&T Center in the great state of Texas. Bloody Elbow is on deck with the betting lines.

The top of the card has a top-shelf welterweight tilt between former lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos and the #12 ranked 170-pounder Leon Edwards. Both main event fighters began their UFC San Antonio betting lives with minus lines. RDA opened up at -135 with Edwards starting out at -105. After a bit of up and down, RDA eventually fell to an underdog line and is now available at the +110 mark. As for Edwards, he can now be scooped as the standalone favorite at -120.

The over/under for this 25-minute fight has been set at 4.5 rounds. The ‘over’ is favored here with a moneyline of -162. The ‘under’ owns an underdog mark of +147. The oddsmakers foresee this bout lasting all five rounds. ‘Fight goes to decision’ is favored at -160 with a +130 comeback on ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision.’ This betting line makes sense, considering that four of Edwards’ last five went the distance, and four of RDA’s last six reached the scorecards.

The UFC San Antonio co-main event takes us to the heavyweight division where the #14 ranked Walt Harris meets the #9 ranked Aleksei Oleinik. Just like this card’s marquee matchup, the athletes in the co-main began their betting journeys with minus signs next to their moneylines. Harris started out at -135 with Oleinik opening at -105. Harris has drifted out a bit further as favorite and now sits at -155. Oleinik has now spent some time in the underdog realm and can scooped for +145.

The over/under for this 15-minute fight has been set at 1.5 rounds. The ‘under’ line is favored here at -172 with a +157 comeback on the ‘over.’ As indicated by a favored ‘under,’ the bookies do not believe that this bout will see the entirety of three rounds. ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is massively favored at -650 with ‘Fight goes to decision’ going the other way at +440.

Let’s be honest for a second. If this match is ending early, then Harris scoring a knockout or Oleinik catching a sub are probably the two most likely outcomes here. ‘Harris wins by TKO/KO’ owns a favored line of -103, with ‘Any other result’ at -137. ‘Oleinik wins by submission’ is available with an underdog tag of +175, with ‘Any other result’ at -245.
