Aleksandar Rakic made the most out of his co-main event spot earlier today (Sat., June 1, 2019) at UFC on ESPN+ 11 live on ESPN+ from inside Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden, when he put a brutal stop to Jimi Manuwa via first-round knockout (head kick)
The bout didn’t last long at all as Manuwa and Rakic quickly engaged. Out of nowhere, Rakic came forward with a two-punch combination that quickly turned into a left head kick. The kick connected flush with Manuwa’s chin and instantly put “Poster Boy” down for the count. Rakic walked off with the 47-second victory.

With this performance, Rakic extends his UFC unbeaten streak to four, including back-to-back finishes in the first round. The 27-year-old Austrian fighter is looking better every time he steps inside of the Octagon and is very close to joining the likes of Johnny Walker and Dominick Reyes as the next generation of light heavyweight contenders.
