Colby Convington sends out a scathing tweet to Mike Perry following his loss to Max Griffin at UFC on FOX 28.

Trust Colby Covington to rub salt in the wound after Mike Perry’s decision loss to Max Griffin at UFC on FOX 28.

Perry, 26, traded back-and-forth with Griffin for three rounds at Orlando’s Amway Center but fell up short on the scorecards.

Perry’s girlfriend, Danielle Nickerson, was coaching ‘Platinum’ in between roads and Covington didn’t hesitate to fire shots at the Floridan couple.

This tweet shouldn’t come as a surprise to MMA fans, as ‘Chaos’ is infamous for his online trolling and vicious insults. The top-three ranked welterweight contender posted a major Star Wars spoiler in December and called Brazilian fans ‘filthy animals’ after his decision win over Demian Maia at last year’s UFC Fight Night 119 event in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

This time, however, several fighters feel Covington has crossed the line with his online trolling and abuse.

Cub Swanson, Kevin Lee, Kamaru Usman, Anthony Smith, and Alex Nicholson fired back at the controversial welterweight on Twitter.

Covington, 30, is riding a five-fight win streak and believes he is next in line for a welterweight title shot. The NCAA Division I wrestler has targeted reigning champion Tyron Woodley, accusing ‘T-Wood’ of ducking him and even going to the lengths of KO’ing ‘TyQuil Woodley’ at a regional pro wrestling show in Rahway, New Jersey earlier this month.
