On Saturday, former UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva makes what he says will be his last walk to the octagon.

“This is the last fight,” Silva said. “For sure, this is the last fight. Probably. I love the sport. I’ve prepared my mind for this. I’ve prepared for fight my entire life, but yes, this is my last fight in UFC.”

Silva was unbeaten in his first 16 fights in the UFC and held the 185-pound crown from October 14, 2006 through July 6, 2013. Silva still holds the record for longest winning streak in the UFC with those 16 victories.

Things haven’t gone as well for Silva over the past seven years. His record during that span is 1-6 with one no contest. His only victory during that run was a 2017 unanimous decision win over Derek Brunson and that win was somewhat controversial as the MMA media largely saw the fight in favor of Brunson.

Silva faces Uriah Hall in the main event of Saturday’s UFC Vegas 12 fight card. Hall is looking to extend his winning streak to three straight when he faces Silva.

Hall vs. Silva takes place at UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Here is how the main event competitors line up in the most important statistical categories.
