Check out the betting odds for UFC Vegas 33, where Sean Strickland is favored to beat Uriah Hall in the main event.

UFC Vegas 33 is definitely happening on this thirty-first day of July. As is, they are down to 9 scheduled bouts, with Uriah Hall vs. Sean Strickland absolutely being the main event. Now that we’ve traversed through the meat and potatoes of this card, let’s go ahead and take a gander at the betting lines for this clash of ranked middleweights. If you’re curious, then there’s a pic of all of the moneylines for each scuffle towards the bottom of the page.

The oddsmakers are siding with the #11 ranked 185-pounder Strickland over the #8 ranked Hall here. Sean’s moneyline sits around the -200 mark, with tossing a $100 on him potentially paying you back $150 in return. That leaves Uriah in the underdog slot, and his straight up betting line can be scooped up at a value as high as +180. So essentially, if you throw a hundo on Hall, and he pulls it off, then you’d be seeing a total of $280 heading back your way.

It is a little surprising that this betting line isn’t a bit closer. Both men are on a four-fight winning streak, with a knockout loss going on before that. Hall is now a salty veteran with a style that could violently exploit Strickland’s pressure game. I mean Sean’s last loss was to a spinning hook kick, and Uriah Hall is Mr. Spinning Hook Kick. Now granted, that did occur at 170-pounds, and Strickland has looked solid at middleweight. If Hall isn’t careful, he could find himself on his back foot playing catchup, and navigating his way through Hail Mary territory.

The bookies are not expecting the UFC Vegas 33 main event to reach the scorecards. The prop bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is holding a favored line of -168, with a +128 comeback on the ‘Fight goes to decision’ option. Going one step further, gamblers can grab up the exotic bet ‘Strickland wins inside distance’ for +130, or jump on ‘Hall wins inside distance’ at a much more lucrative line of +275.
