Check out the betting odds for Saturday’s UFC Vegas 4 card, where Dustin Poirier comfortable favored over Dan Hooker in the main event.

It’s time for another UFC APEX event tonight, this time capped off with what could likely turn out as a Fight of the Year candidate. Of course we’re talking about a lightweight matchup between the #3 ranked, Dustin Poirier and the #5 ranked, Dan Hooker. Poirier is looking to rebound after falling short in his unification title fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov, while Hooker is trying to build upon his run to the top of the division. Bloody Elbow is here to provide the betting lines for this fireworks show, as well as the rest of the UFC Vegas 4 card.

The oddsmakers are favoring Poirier to get passed hooker in the main event. The UFC’s former interim lightweight champ can be found with a straight up moneyline of -230. As for Hooker, the surging contender is on deck in the underdog slot, clocking in with a value of +190. This line has widened a bit from where it initially opened up. At first, Poirier was a -170 option with Hooker hovering at +140. The betting public are in agreement with the bookies, and have sided with the more battle tested veteran over the up and coming new blood.

There is an over/under prop for this 25-minute main event that has been set at 2.5 rounds. Betters can lay the price on the ‘Over’ at a cost of -143 or lay the price on the ‘Under’ for a value of +110. If the odds are any indication, the UFC Vegas 4 marquee matchup will be ending early. The proposition ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is a heavily favored wager at -290, with a +210 comeback on the bet ‘Fight goes to decision.’ Big shocker here considering that six of Hooker’s last eight outings, and seven of Poirier’s last nine matches, have resulted in epic finishes.

According to the betting lines, Poirier is the fighter more likely here to produce a fight-ending sequence. The exotic bet ‘Poirier wins inside distance’ has a minus line of -115, with ‘Not Poirier inside distance’ favored at -125. As for Hooker, the odds show him as the less likely option to end this match early. The ‘Hooker wins inside distance’ option possesses a thick underdog value of +275, with ‘Not Hooker inside distance’ plastered with a massive favored tick of -395.
