The same day the Ultimate Fighting Championship announced a flyweight match between recent tournament semifinalist Ian ‘Uncle Creepy’ McCall (11-3-1) and John Moraga (10-1), McCall took to The Underground forum board to say that he would not be competing at the event.
McCall noted in a response to a fans question, that the reason for his withdrawal was due to a knee injury.

UFC on FOX 4 is scheduled to take place on August 4, 2012 at the Staples Center in Las Angeles, California. The main card will air on FOX television, while the prelim card airs on FUEL TV and on Facebook.com/UFC.
McCall of course, was defeated in the Flyweight semi-final tournament, losing to Demetrious Johnson by decision in their rematch as part of the main event of UFC on FX 3. It now put’s ‘Uncle Creepy’ at 0-1-1 in the Octagon after his draw with ‘Mighty Mouse’ a few months earlier at UFC on FX 2. Before joining the UFC, McCall had been on a four fight win streak.
