According to ABC, a 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged with affray by Hurstville police in Sydney, Australia yesterday (Fri., March 18, 2016) in connection with his role in a violent brawl that spilled out into the streets outside of a pub near the Ritz Hotel two weeks ago.
Absolute mayhem unfolded “down under,” following what police inspector Shane Gemmell called a disagreement over a judges’ decision during the UFC 196 pay-per-view (PPV).
The teen was granted conditional bail and is expected to appear in Children’s Court on April 5. Others involved in escalating the situation are also facing possible charges.
Kids will be kids, I guess.
