Through the very short grapevine of 16 men forced to live in a surprisingly cramped house, Joey Rivera heard that he was the underdog in a fight against Sam Alvey.
Alvey was a much more experienced fighter with big-show experience in Bellator and a win over current title contender Karl Amoussou. He’d trained with ex-champ Dan Henderson at Team Quest South.
Rivera, though, told MMAjunkie.com Radio he had decided from the day he left his house in Arizona that he was already the reality-show tournament’s winner.
