Uriah Hall has a new opponent for his next UFC fight.
Nick Ring has dropped out of the Hall fight and has been replaced by Josh Samman for a middleweight fight on the main card of UFC on FOX Sports 1 on Aug. 17 in Boston. MMA Junkie was the first to report the fight change. UFC officials have confirmed the change on their website.
Hall will try to bounce back after losing the Ultimate Fighter 17 tournament final via split decision to Kelvin Gastelum at the TUF 17 Finale on April 13, 2013.
Samman won his UFC debut when he knocked out Kevin Casey in the second round at the TUF 17 Finale.
Samman could have faced Hall in the reality show final, but Gastelum submitted him via rear-naked choke in the first round in the semis.
