Adrien Broner once again made a complete disgrace of himself in public, three days out from his fight against Manny Pacquiao.
It is no secret that Adrien Broner (33-3-1, 24 KOs) is more loathed than loved among boxing fans. “The Problem” has been exactly that, whether it’s his lengthy rap sheet or boorish and often obnoxious behavior both in and out of the ring, he is a controversial figure.
With Broner set to face Manny Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KOs) this Saturday night in Las Vegas, the two men participated in the traditional fight week press conference, and things went off the rails towards the end. Broner was asked a question by well-respected Showtime Boxing analyst Al Bernstein, and turned it into a vulgar rant against him.
“Adrien you mentioned to some of the press that you see this fight as ‘turning the page,’ and a win would mean so much to you. Explain a little bit on how it is turning the page for you,” Bernstein asked.
“I ain’t even going to lie to you, I don’t f—k with you bro,” Broner said. “You’ve been talking too much sh-t about me on Twitter bro. And I’mma let you know.”
“Me?” Bernstein replied.
“Yeah you bitch-ass n-—a,” Broner answered back. “I’mma let you know. I’m just being real bro,” Broner continued. “I just already feel like [you’re] against me. I’d rather Roy Jones or Stephen A. Smith ask me some questions, I don’t f—k with you.”

As if that wasn’t enough, following the staredowns and while media took photos, Broner made racial stereotype “jokes” towards Pacquiao supporters, telling one of them “I got some sauteed German Shepherd for you in the back.”

This is hardly a first-time offense for Broner when it comes to insensitive remarks and the utterances of slurs. It’s not even the first time he’s specifically gone to the “Asian stereotype” bag during the promotion of this fight.
Pacquiao vs. Broner is on tap for January 19th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Showtime will carry the pay-per-view at a cost of $74.99, in what is Broner’s first ever appearance as a PPV headliner. At stake is Pacquiao’s WBA “regular” welterweight title.
