Conor McGregor attended Mike Conlan’s pro-boxing debut, where he screamed at the boxing media in attendance.
Michael Conlan, a two-time Olympian, made his professional boxing debut Saturday night in New York. His friend Conor McGregor walked out to the ring with him, and he cheered on as the Irish boxer won with a knockout in the third round.
During the event, McGregor also turned his sights to the boxing media in attendance, screaming at them for saying he wouldn’t have a chance against Floyd Mayweather.
“You’re the boxing guy? I’m the boxing guy!” McGregor screamed. “Watch me take over boxing, trust me on that. No one on this boxing game knows what’s coming.
“When I step in there, I will shock the whole goddamn world. Trust me on that. Look me in the eyes. 28-years of age, confident as a motherf—er, long range, dangerous with every hand! Trust me, I will stop Floyd. You’re all going to eat your words. The whole world is going to eat their words!”
As he was walking away, McGregor screamed one more time.
“I am boxing!”
