Jiri Prochazka is one of the most unique fighters in all of combat sports so it shouldn’t have surprised fight fans to see the former UFC light heavyweight champion pacing outside of the T-Mobile Arena late Friday night.

Prochazka, who meets Aleksandar Rakic atop UFC 300’s “Prelims” undercard later this evening (Sat., April 13, 2024) live on ESPN+ from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, is making his first Octagon appearance since getting knocked out by Alex Pereira in a light heavyweight title fight back at UFC 295. That was the first loss for Prochazka dating all the way back to 2015 so he’s going to looking to quickly get back to his winning ways against Rakic on the biggest card of the year.

Late last night, fight fans spotted someone stalking the outside of the T-Mobile Arena. Upon further review, it was Prochazka. The spiritual 31-year-old fighter looked to be channeling his inner samurai on the eve of one of the biggest fights of his career. It’s only something that someone as original as Prochazka would do.

Remember, it’s all about conceiving, believing, and achieving.

Check it out below:

Prochazka, who is 3-1 as a member of the UFC roster, is hoping to deliver a memorable performance at UFC 300 and quickly work his way back towards light heavyweight gold. It’s unknown at this time if his late night visit to T-Mobile Arena will have any effect on his actual performance, but Prochazka seems to be in the right state of mind for his matchup with Rakic.
