Tyson Fury had a few too many on Friday night, resulting in his ejection from a local pub and subsequent TKO on the sidewalk.

Fury is coming off a disappointing split decision loss to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia. “The Gypsy King” was pummeled by Usyk in the 9th round of the long-awaited heavyweight superfight, with the ref stepping in to give him a standing eight count. That was the pivotal moment that would end up leaning the scorecards Usyk’s way.

The two are set to rematch on December 21st, and Fury is enjoying his time off … perhaps a bit too much.

New footage from Friday, (June 7th, 2024) shows a toasted Fury being ejected from a pub called Nowhere in Morecambe, Lancs after the serving staff deciding he’d had enough to drink. Bouncers gently lead the massive former champion away from the bar as he stumbles.

Then the scene cuts to outside the bar where Fury falls and then faceplants as he tries to get back to his feet. Not a great look, but according to those close to him it was just Tyson letting off some long-held steam. They claim Fury hadn’t had a drink in more than a year. Others in attendance at the pub said the boxer was a friendly drunk who took the time to talk to fans and even hand out a few £20 bills for some reason.

Considering the delay and extended camps for the first Fury-Usyk encounter, that’s unsurprising. Tyson Fury basically did two camps back to back — one for the original February 17th date, which was postponed after Tyson suffered a cut in training. And then another for the new May 18th date, where Fury lost.

Now “The Gypsy King” has a few months off to relax before preparing for the immediate rematch, and it looks like he needs some training to get back to his hard drinking ways if he doesn’t want to get knocked down again.
