Video: Jon Jones now throws brutal uppercuts (be afraid)

These days Jon Jones is readying himself for his eventual Octagon return, which is expected to be sometime in the first half of 2016.

The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight titleholder has packed on the muscle and now he continues to work his striking technique with his Jackson-Wink MMA coach and mastermind Brandon Gibson in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

“Bones” is clearly champing at the bit to take back what’s rightfully his in a highly anticipated rematch with rival and current 205-pound champion Daniel Cormier. “DC” was defeated by Jones via unanimous decision at UFC 182 in January 2015.

They’ve only remained the best of friends since then.

I guess we can go ahead and forget about all that criticism about Jones not being able to bust a grape (his words here), judging by this new video.
