Jorge Masvidal reenacted his infamous flying knee last night during an appearance on TNT’s All Elite Wrestling (AEW) show.
Masvidal came to the ring with an entourage of fighters all under Dan Lambert’s American Top Team stable. Former UFC fighters like Paige VanZant, Junior dos Santos, and Andrei Arlovski helped issue a beatdown on AEW’s Chris Jericho and company. The MMA stars quickly gained the upper hand and didn’t let up.
After VanZant used a bare-knuckle combo to soften Jericho up Masvidal lined up for his patented flying knee, which is the same one he used to flatten Ben Askren in just five seconds back at UFC 239 (see it HERE). “Gamebred” landed the knee flush and Jericho was out for the count.

Despite Masvidal losing back-to-back fights to current UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman he still remains one of the most popular MMA fighters in the sport today. Masvidal received a solid ovation from the New York crowd before he landed his walk-off shot.
Even Askren chimed in on the performance with the below tweet:
