Floyd Mayweather was not a happy camper after Jake Paul stole his baseball cap.

Jake Paul’s latest trolling target is none other than Floyd Mayweather Jr. The semi-retired boxing star is due to face Paul’s older brother Logan Paul in an exhibition bout in June. However, he ended up in a brawl with the younger Paul yesterday.

Cameras captured the moment Jake Paul got in Mayweather’s face. After exchanging some words Paul snatched Mayweather’s baseball cap, proclaiming ‘gotcha hat’. A brawl ensued with Paul and Mayweather eventually being separated.

After the incident cameras caught Mayweather backstage yelling that he wanted to kill Paul. YouTuber DJ Akademiks captured this moment, in which Mayweather appears more agitated than we’ve ever seen him, and shared it on twitter.

“Bitch! I’m going to fucking kill him. Motherfucker. I’m going to kill that motherfucker!” yelled Mayweather in the video, all while a PR person can be heard screaming for Mayweather to be ushered into a locker room for some privacy.

“When I catch you motherfucker, I’m going to kill you motherfucker,” continued the visibly rattled Mayweather.

Paul took to Twitter later on yesterday to joke about the death threats

“Word on the street already is that Floyd is sending goons after me to try and kill me or hurt me,” wrote Paul. “I I die… I died for the hat.”

Mayweather versus Logan Paul is scheduled for June 6. Thanks to this blow-up, you can expect that event to draw even more eyeballs and make even more money for those involved.

The incident also helps elevate Jake Paul’s stature as the reigning clown prince of combat sports. The 3-0 pro boxer is making a joke out of MMA and boxing and laughing all the way to the bank.

Last month he knocked out former MMA champion Ben Askren to give his pugilistic skills a dash of more credibility. With how well that event did, it’s almost certain that he and Triller Fight Club will collaborate on another fight soon.

Paul has called out a number of MMA fighters in recent weeks and has reportedly sent a serious offer to UFC commentator Michael Bisping.
