A brawl broke out on stage earlier today (Fri., Aug. 30, 2024) at the official weigh ins for Misfits Boxing 17 live on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) from inside 3Arena Dublin, Ireland, and it didn’t involve Anderson Silva’s son.
While the event will no longer feature KSI’s weird 2 vs. 1 main event boxing clash (details HERE), Misfits Boxing 17 will still host some pretty interesting (and highly volatile) matchups. This includes a main card squabble between heavyweight social media influencers, HS Tikky Tokky and George Fensom.
These two already don’t like each other, but when they came face-to-face during Friday’s weigh ins things took a turn for the worse. Fensom, who is the betting underdog entering this weekend’s action, took the microphone and tried to charge the crowd up by asking who hates his opponent. In a truly awkward moment, the crowd fell silent and Fensom’s cringe attempt at trash talk completely fell flat.
As HS Tikky Tokky grabbed the microphone back to make the already embarrassed Fensom look even more silly that’s when an all-out brawl unfolded on stage. Fensom quickly shot in for a takedown, but HS Tikky Tokky defended it nicely. Security rushed in to try to break the two influencers up, but that didn’t stop HS Tikky Tokky from attacking Fensom’s back during the tie up. It looked like he may have landed some punches and elbows from the top.
The whole incident was pretty chaotic, but a great way for the two men to pump some life into their upcoming matchup at Misfits Boxing 17. Check out the onstage melee above and below:
