In the latest edition of his ‘body shot challenge,’ Ngannou takes UFC featherweight Dan Ige’s hardest punches and doesn’t move an inch.

After waiting for what felt like an eternity, Francis Ngannou finally has his next heavyweight title shot secured: the Cameroonian slugger will rematch current champ Stipe Miocic for the belt on March 27th at UFC 260. And despite Miocic literally dragging Ngannou for the vast majority of their first bout back in 2018, the bookies still have “The Predator” a -150 favorite to Miocic’s +130.

Those odds tell you just how much stock is put into Ngannou’s fearsome punching power. All it takes is one good shot and it’s good night Miocic. And while Stipe is no slouch when it comes to knocking opponents out either, we’ve never actually seen Ngannou hurt by strikes in the UFC.

Adding to his sheen of toughness is this video from a training session at Xtreme Couture. He gets fellow UFC fighter Dan Ige to hit him multiple times directly in the bread basket, and takes it all without even a wince. Ige may only be a featherweight, but those punches are legit, son.

That’s some improvement over this video from June of 2020 where “The Predator” took two to the body from 125 pounder Aupuni Pagaoa before tapping.

Is Francis only getting scarier? We think so. Will it translate into a heavyweight title win on March 27th? We’ll see.
