On Monday’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, UFC women’s strawweight contender Paige VanZant and partner Mark Ballas wowed the judges once again with a stellar performance. VanZant and Ballas danced the jive to Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary” on this week’s “Icon Night,” and earned a perfect score of 30/30 — only the second perfect score given out by the judges this season.
Last week, VanZant nearly faced elimination, but this week solidified her spot in the top six with one of the best performances of season 22. Check out the full dance above.
Proved by her performance this week, VanZant is one of the favorites to win this year’s season of Dancing With The Stars. The UFC fighter grew up dancing, but moved on in her teenage years to focus on other sports and activities.
VanZant is a rising star in the UFC’s Octagon, with an impressive 3-1 record. She suffered her first UFC defeat to the hands of Rose Namajunas this past December.
