The action is sure to deliver later tonight (Sat., April 13, 2019) at UFC 236 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, as UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway takes on lightweight staple Dustin Poirier for the interim 155-pound title. Adding to the mix is a co-main event between surging contender Kelvin Gastelum and undefeated superstar Israel Adesanya for the interim UFC middleweight belt.

As a prelude to the madness, UFC has released a video montage of the best knockouts from some of UFC 236’s finest fighters. The list is led by Gastelum’s memorable first-round knockout over former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping back at UFC Shanghai in 2017, but also includes the following stoppages:

  • Alan Jouban’s one-punch knockout over Ben Saunders at UFC on FOX 28
  • Curtis Millender’s debut knockout via knee over veteran Thiago Alves at UFC Fight Night 126
  • Nikita Krylov’s head kick finish over Ed Herman back at UFC 201
  • Ovince Saint Preux’s head kick knockout over Corey Anderson back at UFC 217

Hopefully more finishes like these are added to the highlight-reel later tonight. Unmentioned on this list are UFC 236 combatants such as Eryk Anders, Matt Frevola, Max Griffin, Brandon Davis, and Belal Muhammad, who never seem to turn in a boring fight.

MMAmania.com will deliver LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire UFC 236 fight card, starting with the Fight Pass “Prelims” matches online, which are scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m. ET, then the remaining undercard balance on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET, before the ESPN+ PPV main card start time at 10 p.m. ET.
