Video: TUF 24’s Joseph Benavidez mic’d up for Demetrious Johnson vs Henry Cejudo title fight

Before Joseph Benavidez takes on Henry Cejudo at this weekend’s (Sat., Dec. 3, 2016) Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 24 Finalein Las Vegas, Nevada, to settle their rivalry after serving as coaches on season 24 of the long-running reality show, let’s take a look back at Cejudo’s attempt to dethrone flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson from his throne.

Better yet, see it through the lens of Benavidez — who came up short against “Mighty Mouse” on two different occasions — in attendance sitting cageside in “Sin City” to catch the 125-pound showdown this past April.

In the latest installment of “Full Blast,” Benavidez gives his best play-by-play of the bout, which saw Johnson retain his title by knocking out Cejudo in the very first round. Plus, it’s good to hear “Joe Jitsu” give Demetrious props, saying he gets inspired by his performances, despite getting losing to him on two separate occasions.

Now, Joseph and Cejudo will tango in an effort to inch themselves closer to a another championship fight against the seemingly unstoppable champion, who will headline the FOX Sports 1 event against Tim Elliot this weekend in the five-round main event.
