Video: UFC fighter caught lying about voting for Donald Trump on Jimmy Kimmel

UFC fighter Jake Ellenberger was featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live’s Lie Witness News.

In a popular segment called Lie Witness News, the crew behind Jimmy Kimmel Live walked the streets of Los Angeles to ask if people voted on Super Tuesday. Whether it was pressure to participate in politics, or just going for an opportunity to get featured on TV, several people claimed to have voted, even if California wasn’t part of the 13 states that held contests on that day.

While there was no way anyone from LA have voted, among the several people who still claimed they did, is UFC fighter Jake Ellenberger. Not only did the welterweight lie about voting for Donald Trump, he also claimed to have paid money to do so.

Watch the clip above starting at the 1:50 mark.

Interviewer: Did you vote today on Super Tuesday?

Jake: I did.

Interviewer: Who did you vote for?

Jake: Donald Trump.

Interviewer: What was that experience like for you, voting this morning?

Jake: It was pretty smooth. (Shrug)

Interviewer: Did you have to pay a little bit? They were charging $5 at the door.

Jake: Yeah, a little bit. But it is what it is.

Interviewer: What were you charged? 5 or 10?

Jake: 10.

When asked about it on twitter, Ellenberger said:

@yipman10 I got to vote twice yesterday!
