We are officially in fight week and counting down the days for one of the most-anticipated pay-per-view (PPV) events of the year, as UFC 241 goes down this Saturday night (Aug., 17, 2019) inside Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Headlining the stellar event is a Heavyweight title fight that will see division champion, Daniel Cormier, defend his strap against Stipe Miocic, the man he took it from nearly a year ago.

Indeed, Stipe’s stance to sit out for so long in hopes of an immediate rematch paid off after Brock Lesnar abruptly retired from mixed marital arts (MMA). Now, he will look to prove that “DC”s’ knockout win over him was nothing more than a mistake on his own part on the road to reclaiming his title.

In the co-main event, a bitter Welterweight matchup will see Nate Diaz make his long-awaited return to action to face off against former Lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis. The two men have exchanged words in the past, and now it’s time to officially get it on in a fight that could very well steal the show.

Rounding out the trio of exciting matchups filled with intrigue and beef is a Middleweight showdown between Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa. The fight had been scheduled on two occasions prior, only to get axed for one reason or another. Now, the two hulking 185-pounders will look to make their case for a shot at the division strap.

Both the main and co-main event bouts have been featured in the promotion’s “Countdown” video special, embedded above. And to see the entire UFC 241 fight card and line up, which also features preliminary bouts on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass, click here.
