War Machine tweets to girlfriend, claims to be misunderstood and innocent while in hiding

War Machine was released from his Bellator contract on Friday following a report that the former UFC welterweight is wanted by Las Vegas police as a suspect in a domestic violence incident. As of the time of this writing, is still in hiding.

The former The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) contestant is still on the run, but took to Twitter to both proclaim his innocence and send a parting message to long-time girlfriend, Christy Mack:
