Missed out on Polaris 3 today? You can at least watch all of the preliminary bouts right here on Bloody Elbow.
While all eyes were on the main event of Polaris 3 between Rousimar Palhares and Garry Tonon, the prelim card featured some of the jiu jitsu world’s rising stars. The Ultimate Fighter Season 9’s Jeff Lawson, one of the better known names on the undercard, faced off against the ever talented Keith McKenzie in a gi match. Another former UFC fighter who donned the mats was Phil Harris, who famously scored a massive upset by beating Ulysses Gomez at UFC on FUEL TV 7, faced off against Adam Adshead.
Highlighting the prelims was a no-gi match between the ever-outspoken Travis Newaza and British champion Ben Dyson.
