The heavyweight action will return to the spotlight later tonight (Sat., June 20, 2020) at UFC on ESPN 11 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, as surging contenders Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov square off in a fascinating main event clash.

This is a tremendous opportunity for both fighters as they’ve combined for a 13-3 (1 NC) record since making their Octagon debuts back in 2016, but it may be an even bigger chance to shine for Blaydes, who brings a three-fight win streak into this bout. Another victory for “Razor” and it could land him close to title contention.

In preparation for UFC on ESPN 11’s heavyweight headliner, the promotion has released some of the greatest performances in the career of Blaydes (shown in the above video player). From his smashing TKO victory over Alistair Overeem to his destruction of former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos this past January, “Razor” has sliced through the competition over the years.

While Volkov poses different threats than any fighter Blaydes has ever fought before it’s likely that “Razor” can still manage to close the distance and take the Russian down. If that’s the case, Blaydes may only need a few minutes to land his heavy ground-and-pound and add another prominent name to his list of finishes.

What do you think? Can Blaydes finish Volkov like he’s done to so many other UFC heavyweights?
