Talk about a homecoming a long time in the making. Watch video above of Conor McGregor making his triumphant return to Dublin for the first time since winning the UFC interim featherweight championship with a second-round knockout of Chad Mendes on July 11 at UFC 189.
After winning the title, McGregor went directly into six weeks of filming The Ultimate Fighter 22 opposite Urijah Faber. The season debuts this Wednesday on FOX Sports 1.
McGregor is scheduled to finally settle his rivalry with UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo on Dec. 12 at UFC 194, an event many believe could become the biggest in UFC history. But before any of that, he finally gets a chance to breathe and enjoy the fruits of his labors with his family in Dublin.
