Bellator 216: “MVP vs. Semtex” takes place this weekend (Sat., Feb. 16, 2019) at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., airing exclusively on DAZN. It’s the second of two consecutive shows in the same venue, and this one is headlined by a Welterweight Grand Prix bout between Michael “Venom” Page (13-0) and Paul “Semtex” Daley (40-16-2).
Things got heated between Daley and Page at the Bellator Newcastle press conference last weekend, and the war of words has only continued to escalate since then, with “Venom” claiming he’s in Daley’s head leading up to this British clash of Welterweight titans.
You might expect a match this heated to have a “Countdown”-style series to promote it — and you wouldn’t be wrong. Bellator MMA is calling this new series #Friends2Foes.
