Former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE superstar Brock Lesnar recently visited his alma mater of the University of Minnesota to test his wrestling skills against 19-year-old phenom Gable Steveson.
Lesnar, who officially retired from MMA last April amidst rumors of a return bout opposite Daniel Cormier, visited the school early Friday. Remember, Lesnar wrestled for the University of Minnesota during his junior and senior year of college, winning a national championship as a heavyweight in 2000.
While the 42-year-old combat star is well past his physical prime, Lesnar ended up holding his own against Steveson, who produced a 35-2 record in his freshman year before qualifying for Olympic trials.

While this is zero indication that Lesnar has any plans of making a return to MMA sometime in the future, it’s good to know that the WWE star is still tuning his real wrestling skills against some of the best young talent in the sport.
What say you, Maniacs! Did Lesnar look good in his work with Steveson?
Let’s hear it!
