In less than two months, UFC 244 will feature a highly anticipated main event that’s not for a UFC title, but rather the “BMF” belt. Popular welterweights Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal are slated to square off on November 2nd at Madison Square Garden, as Diaz looks to make it two wins in a row after a three-year layoff, while Masvidal is seeking a third straight spectacular victory.
Before they meet in the cage, these two will make the media rounds, starting first with a press conference from The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City. This has some significance if only because a lot of ESPN programming is from that part of Manhattan, so they’re obviously going to promote the hell out of this contest.
