Paddy Pimblett is in full fight mode, which is probably why the rising lightweight star was willing to engage in a war of words with Irish bantamweight Caolan Loughran on UFC 304’s fighter bus.
Pimblett will be back in action this weekend in Manchester, England, as “Baddy” makes his third-straight UFC PPV main card appearance. This time around, Pimblett is scheduled to fight lightweight veteran Bobby “King” Green.” A victory for Pimblett could land him in the top 15 by next week. It’s an important outing to say the least.
On Friday, Pimblett joined his fellow UFC 304 fighters on a bus for official weigh ins (replay HERE). That’s where Pimblett found himself in an argument with Loughran about sparring partners, teammates, and past fights. The full context is unknown at this time, but “Baddy” kept his foot on the gas while trading barbs with the young Irishman in front of a bus full of fighters and coaches.

“Shut your mouth,” said Pimblett. “I spar people in my gym that would outclass you. You know what I mean? They’d f—king smoke you. All the bantamweights in our gym would smoke you.”
“Let’s see how you fight tomorrow,” responded Loughran.
“Yeah, let’s see how I fight,” said Pimblett. “Let’s see how Jake Hadley finishes you. Major Chip Hazard. Get f—king slapped up.”
