Saturday’s Fury-Schwarz event was filled with theatrics including this heartfelt moment between Tyson and his wife.

German heavyweight Tom Schwarz lasted just two rounds in the ring with Tyson Fury on Saturday night in Las Vegas before getting TKO’d (watch the finish here), but that doesn’t mean the fight wasn’t thrilling — or the events surrounding it. Fury has always been a showman, and once turning up to a press conference opposite Wladimir Klitschko dressed as Batman. He carried on that tradition at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, walking to the ring in a star spangled outfit that payed homage to Rocky IV’s Apollo Creed.

Fortunately for him, he did better against Schwarz than Apollo did against Ivan Drago. Which set up this charming moment following the fight where Fury took the opportunity to sing Aerosmith’s ‘I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’ to his wife Paris.

It’s honestly not a bad rendition for a guy that just took some heavyweight punches (even though CompuBox has Schwarz landing just 6 as opposed to Fury’s 45). It’s extra sweet when you consider the two have been together since they were 16. It can’t have been an easy road for the two over the past few years. Fury was forced to relinquish an alphabet soup of championship belts in 2016 when depression and drug addiction nearly ended his career and life.

Three years later and he’s worked his way to the very top of boxing once again and has a shot at unifying the heavyweight titles if promotional politics don’t hold things up too much. Of course, he still has to win his fights, but it’s hard to disagree with Dana White’s assessment: Fury is the best heavyweight boxer in the world right now. It’s up to someone else to stop him.
