Zane Simon, Connor Ruebusch, and Phil Mackenzie are back. And this week they’re not watching the worst fights they can find. They’re watching the Chuck Liddell vs. Randy Couture trilogy, to go along with their recent D-Day film release.

The holiday season is all about themes. Whether it’s holly & jolly, wet & cold, or leaving behind the past for new beginnings. This is a time for consistency. As such, we at the Depressed-us have decided to stick with our theme from last week’s screening of D-Day, starring Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell.

And what better way to do that, then to watch all three of their light heavyweight title fights. We’ll be starting off with the first meeting between the two men, at UFC 43, back in 2003, for the interim belt. Then jumping forward to UFC 42, and their TUF 1 coaches battle for the unified belt. And wrap the whole thing up with UFC 57, their final bout against one another—once again for the 205 strap.

Anyway, if you’d like to watch along with us, these fights might actually be entertaining for a change and we might actually be having a decent time – pull up each of the three fights on Fight Pass and hit play when Zane counts down. For viewers that don’t have Fight Pass, but do have the fights, they can join in by starting round 1 along with Connor’s prompt.
