Zane Simon, Connor Ruebusch, & Phil Mackenzie are back to watch the best of the worst fights they can find. Focusing on the UFC, PRIDE, the WEC, and Strikeforce.

I’m not even supposed to be here today. This was supposed to be UFC fight week, with the 249: Ferguson vs. Gaethje PPV taking place at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino. But that’s not happening. So instead, the MMA Depressed-us is back on, and hitting on all cylinders. To deal with our extreme MMA deprivation this week, we’ve decided to turn our attention on some of MMA’s grind-iest grinders. Bred-in-the-bone top control wrestlers, putting on all wrestling all the time performances.

To kick things off, we’ve got a middleweight fight from UFC 132 between Aaron Simpson and Brad Tavares. Then we’re jumping to UFC on Versus 5 and Jacob Volkmann’s fight against Danny Castillo. Then wrapping the whole thing up with late era Mark Coleman’s fight against Stephan Bonnar from UFC 100. A smorgasbord take down to top control action.

As always, we’re watching each fight on Fight Pass. And you can follow along at home by starting each video from the beginning when Zane says “go.” If you’re watching the videos somewhere other than fight pass, Connor will try and get you all synched up for the start of round 1.
