Dana White was sick to his stomach after learning about Donald Trump’s assassination attempt Saturday night in Butler, Pennsylvania. The UFC CEO found out about the shooting while on a plane flying to Italy.

Trump was in Pennsylvania for another Republican rally when gun shots burst out and the former President of the United States went to the ground. After Secret Service secured Trump he rose to his feet to hold up a fist while blood ran across his ear and face. It was an iconic moment after an unfathomable incident.

White, who has been friends with Trump for years and one of his biggest Republican advocates, quickly took to social media to express his disgust for the unprecedented assassination attempt. Check it out below via Instagram:

“I’m on a plane right now flying to Italy and my phone has been blowing up with text messages from people informing me @realdonaldtrump was shot. I am absolutely SICK to my stomach and in complete shock. I still don’t know how bad it is or if he’s ok. But @mickmaynard2 just sent me this picture and I’m praying President Trump is 100% healthy. This image perfectly reflects EXACTLY the man I know Donald Trump to be. He is the toughest, most resilient, AMERICAN BAD ASS on this planet. I hope the weak coward that shot him gets what he deserves, and I can’t WAIT to stand up on stage with him on Thursday and introduce him at the Republican National Convention and tell the WORLD exactly the character of the friend and man I KNOW!!”

While details will continue to emerge regarding the shooting, many believe this incident will help Trump win the upcoming 2024 presidential election. At least White will be speaking for Trump again in effort to bring Republican power back to the White House.
