VANCOUVER, British Columbia – UFC president Dana White is no longer at
odds with Chuck Liddell over retirement. The UFC boss sees that the
former light heavyweight champion has turned his lifestyle around in
order to regain a competitive edge in fighting.

But White is as curious as everyone else to see if Liddell can still
take a punch. If not, White thinks they will agree that it’s time to
call it quits.

“I’d have to say, ‘Yeah,'” White told MMAjunkie.com
when asked whether a bad loss would signal the end of Liddell’s octagon
run. “If things go like a few of his past fights, I think he’d make the
call, too.”
