UFC president Dana White would love to see a rematch between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Conor McGregor vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov was the biggest fight in UFC history, so it should come as no surprise to see Khabib vs. Conor II listed as Dana White’s most anticipated fight of all time.

White recently sat down for a Reddit AMA, and the UFC president didn’t hesitate to hype a potential rematch between the two lightweights, claiming that ‘The Notorious’ is desperate to avenge his submission loss to ‘The Eagle’ at UFC 229.

“If you could have a rematch to any fight that never got one, what would it be?” Reddit user pm_me_titty_pix posted on Wednesday.

“I know everybody is gonna go ‘isn’t he awesome’ but it’s true. I would have to say Conor Khabib… Conor wants that rematch so bad and I would love to see it,” White responded.

While White may be eager for a rematch, the 50-year-old has promised that the winner of Tony Ferguson vs. Justin Gaethje will go on to face Khabib in a title unification bout later this year, leaving McGregor out of the equation altogether.

UFC 249: Ferguson vs. Gaethje is scheduled to take place on May 9 at the VyState Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, where both men will square off for the interim lightweight title.
