Slow No news day.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White needs to watch his back. Or his backside, in this case, as World Wresting Entertainment (WWE) superstar Roman Reigns is looking to give the Las Vegas fight boss a heavyweight enema in the form of Brock Lesnar.

Ouch.

Reigns and Lesnar are expected to wrassle for the latter’s Universal Championship at the upcoming “SummerSlam” pay-per-view (PPV) event this Sunday night (Aug. 19, 2018) inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Here’s what to expect.

“I’m gonna send Brock so far back into the UFC he’s gonna find his head stuck in Dana White’s ass,” Reigns said, which drew a “LOL” from White.

MMA and WWE are pretty much the same entity at this point, as athletes jump back and forth between different promotions. Former women’s bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, followed UFC veteran Shayna Baszler to WWE, while Lesnar and CM Punk crossed over to cage fighting.

In addition, ex-WWE champion “Jack Swagger” will now fight for Bellator MMA, as UFC light heavyweight Tom Lawlor says goodbye to the MMA world to ply his trade for Major League Wrestling (MLW).

Welcome to the future of combat sports.

Lesnar is expected to lose his title this weekend in “The Empire State” so that he can concentrate on his Octagon return, which takes place in early 2019 against heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier.

Assuming this goes according to plan.
