Undefeated boxing prospect Joe Joyce (7-0, 7 KO) made quick work of heavyweight veteran Joe Hanks (23-3, 15 KO) to kick off tonight’s (Sat., Dec. 1, 2018) “Wilder vs. Fury” pay-per-view (PPV) main card from inside Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif., as “Juggernaut” secured an easy first-round knockout finish.
Joyce stunned Hanks with a furious right hand in the corner. Hanks tried to shake it off like it was nothing but his stumbling movement proved otherwise. Joyce took advantage and landed a final left hook that put Hanks on his back for good, as well as knocking his eyes sideways.

With this performance, Joyce cashes on on his PPV main card bid and proves the oddsmakers right after coming in as a -10000 favorite. Fight fans can only hope that the first-round knockout finish was a sign of exciting things to come, as we still have Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury later tonight.
