Patricio “Pitbull” Freire obviously was disappointed when he learned Tuesday’s news that his Bellator 73 main-event opponent, featherweight champion Pat Curran, had scratched from the card due to a broken orbital bone.
But the Brazilian told MMAjunkie.com the plan is for him to remain on the card against to be determined.
He knows Bellator has signed some new international talent, but Freire said he’d be perfectly content with a Joe Warren rematch.
