It’s been almost two years since Tim Kennedy got the chance to fight for a major title, too long for a man whose life seems to be in perpetual motion.
Since joining with Strikeforce in 2009, Kennedy, who nearly two years ago was outpointed by Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza in his first bid for the middleweight belt, has fought just twice yearly after putting his military career on hold to achieve success in MMA.
But he’s grateful his time finally has come.
